Earlier this year, with my
friends, we decided to go to a backpack in the south of Chile, we started in
Temuco and we reached Chiloé, because we had no more money and, lastly, the
rain ruined all our clothes.
I went with 5 friends, Gus,
Cristian, Andy, Maxi, the black man and I, there we met other traveling friends
and we also made fellow dogs and cats.
We stayed a month traveling
on trips, we only took buses for very long trips or because we could negotiate
the passage to save money. What we did most was enjoy the scenery, the tranquility.
In Lake Panguipulli we camped without worries, what we did was talk, eat ,
smoke marihuana and bathe in the lake, we walked through the forest until we
lost. At Lake Calafquen we were lucky enough to bathe in the rain, Lake
Villarrica enjoyed it on Pucón beach, it was a hidden beach with a breathtaking
view. When we arrived in Valdivia, we had to camp in a public square and the
next morning we were evacuated by the police. We arrived in Puerto Montt and
then arrived in Chiloé in a torrential rain.
I enjoyed it because I was
with my friends, traveling free and without fault. I learned to know myself in
extreme situations, to go hungry, the best was the wine when it was shared to
pass the cold. There was a place near the Huilo - Huilo National Reserve that
the temperature in the night was minus 5 degrees and you could reach an agent
by boat.
