A Holiday

Hi Bloggers!

Earlier this year, with my friends, we decided to go to a backpack in the south of Chile, we started in Temuco and we reached Chiloé, because we had no more money and, lastly, the rain ruined all our clothes.
I went with 5 friends, Gus, Cristian, Andy, Maxi, the black man and I, there we met other traveling friends and we also made fellow dogs and cats.
We stayed a month traveling on trips, we only took buses for very long trips or because we could negotiate the passage to save money. What we did most was enjoy the scenery, the tranquility. In Lake Panguipulli we camped without worries, what we did was talk, eat , smoke marihuana and bathe in the lake, we walked through the forest until we lost. At Lake Calafquen we were lucky enough to bathe in the rain, Lake Villarrica enjoyed it on Pucón beach, it was a hidden beach with a breathtaking view. When we arrived in Valdivia, we had to camp in a public square and the next morning we were evacuated by the police. We arrived in Puerto Montt and then arrived in Chiloé in a torrential rain.

I enjoyed it because I was with my friends, traveling free and without fault. I learned to know myself in extreme situations, to go hungry, the best was the wine when it was shared to pass the cold. There was a place near the Huilo - Huilo National Reserve that the temperature in the night was minus 5 degrees and you could reach an agent by boat.

My friends and I were together in my house for my birthday, first with music and drinking beer in the street, then having dinner together and then dancing all night, also karaoke. The main thing I did these days was to eat between meat, empanadas, soup, it is a pleasure to eat and more now that everything tastes better. Also, the days I was at home, we danced a lot of cumbia and cueca, talking to my sisters and parents. With the family of a friend we went to see a Santa Feria and sound palaces in the Recoleta stadium.

Something you did last Weekend

Hi bloggers !!!

The week was one of the best he had in a long time. Together with the Caporales Sangre Andina, the second anniversary of the subsidiary “La Serena” was celebrated, so people from many parts of Chile traveled with the reason of dancing in a pasacalle through the urban center of this city and share with family.

It was in the Commune of La Serena, which belongs to the fourth region of Coquimbo, already located in the part of Chile semiarido before reaching the great north of Chile. The dance was in the center, but we stayed in a school, where we rehearsed, slept, shared and celebrated.

At all times I was never alone, always with some friends with whom to talk and drink. It was just dancing people and band members. Being in a familiar environment, it did not matter if you knew the other, everything was spontaneous and natural.

Enjoy these days for many things, first I did not know La Serena and everything was new to me, I also had not had the opportunity to share with my dance partners more intimately and because it was the first time I would dance in the street, I felt a pleasure and an indescribable joy, I felt intensely alive !!!!

An Exhibition or Concert You Enjoyed

Hi bloggers!!

Of the concert that I am going to write I do not know if to call it by that name, but like an "tocata outdoors" that Angelo Escobar, a Chilean singer of troba with very personal styles. It was very simple, always makes events like this, his voice and his guitar.
Once I saw him at the University of Santiago, but I did not know him well in 2013, then I saw him at the FAU and the last time I heard him in the forest park, in front of the Museum of Fine Arts, sitting next to the tall palms Chileans.
Hours before the event did not know I was going to sing, I was working and I communicated Gustavo with me, an old friend who had seen the event on Facebook and invited me, this would be free and voluntary collaboration. With the passage of time Manuel and Dario arrived, Manuel and companion of bars with Angelo.

The truth is that from school I like the troba, with Manuel Garcia, Chinoy, Kaskivano, Pascualla Ilabaca, Tito Yañe among some artisan singers. I enjoyed it a lot because many of Angelo's songs that I shared with an old love, Tamara, with each letter revived their memory and love.

a ordina trip

Hi bloggers !!!!!!

Today I would like to talk about an ordinary trip, any trip, a simple trip which I remember from my house to FAU. My trip is of one day Tuesday. On Tuesday my classes begin at 08:30 with a bouquet called "geography of the soil". I live in Puente Alto and to get to university early I get up at 6:20 to have breakfast and go out to take bus 204, I'm lucky that the first bus stop is 5 minutes from my house. I get up at that hour to not take the metro because I can not stand to go tight, sometimes I'm on the verge of fainting.

At first I go on the almost empty bus, I like to sit by the window to be able to look at the mountain range, it is still dark the day. Every minute that passes more people go, almost everyone goes to their places of work, I see people who are listening to music, others are reading, sleeping and talking.

Before the sun comes out, the rays of light play with colors, from a dark blue to a light blue with pink and yellow tones that blend with clouds of different sizes. After an hour of travel and passing through many communes, it is time to get off. It is the beginning of the day and little by little I forget the colors of the dawn, little by little I come back to understand how beautiful and fleeting of the simple things.

something artistic that I enjoy doing

Hi bloggers!!

Today I will talk about something artistic that I like to do. Before I see anything, I think an artistic expression can be anything. In my case, I believe that artistic expressions go hand in hand with my experience and life learning.

Since I was little I liked to draw, I was never good creating, but yes copying things accurately, I like to draw everything in my mind say at the time, my style is abstract and not realistic. I also like to paint, play with different colors, play with tones, with light and shadow to create volume and perception. Before entering Geography I liked to create things with any material, in "Plastic Arts" was very good and I liked doing it. I thought about studying Architecture but I like to sleep and enjoy the outdoors, so change my descent to last minute.

The artistic expression you have recently discovered is dancing. It starts as a beginner dancing bachata in 2014. I realized that it was not difficult for me to move my body to the beat. Since then I began to look for what caught my attention. Several styles that you could enjoy as "cueca chora", "salsa", "ballroom". In FAU I was able to know the wonderful "Afro dance". Here I learned to know my body and my mind and also to seek pleasure, energy and happiness. I am currently practicing "caporal" which makes me very happy.

A Family photograph

Hi FAU bloggers!!

Today I’m going to talk about a family photo that I like.  This photograph was taken around 2004, on the birthday of my maternal grandmother Lucia. In this photo all my maternal cousins appear, blue is my sister Catherine and the baby in white is my niece Janys. The place of the photo is the house of my grandmother, this photo I like very much because they appear the mandalas that she weaves, some pictures, furniture. Not only that wall had different things of her, also the whole house was full of incredible materialities some old and others recycled.

In this photo my maternal cousins are shown, many were the days that we spent playing in that house, had a tree of lemons and many flowers. Today, several of them have children. Unfortunately that house was sold after my grandmother went to paradise. This photo I really like because I remember when I was smaller and how easy it was to have fun with simple things. It is a photograph that keeps my family together, holds together the different generations that cross in a single moment. This image is not the original photograph, the truth is that I do not know where it is, who will have it or if it still exists, I only know that my heart does not erase it.
